First Muffin Monster® Patent Received

From its founding in 1973 in Santa Ana, California JWC Environmental had been working with waste treatment operators to solve difficult solids problems in wastewater flows. The two-shafted Muffin Monster® was the answer to the problem and the product has revolutionized how wastewater pumps and other equipment is protected across the United States and the world.

The first patent for the Muffin Monster was granted in 1977 and the technology has continued to improve from there.
